PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the deterioration of display quality.SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device includes: a first substrate having first gate wiring and second gate wiring extended in a first direction, first source wiring extended in a second direction, a switching element electrically connected to the first gate wiring and the first source wiring, a contact part brought into contact with the switching element and a main pixel electrode connected to the contact part; a second substrate having a common electrode; and a liquid crystal layer held between the first substrate and the second substrate. The switching element includes a drain electrode having: a first electrode part positioned under the contact part, and extended in the first direction; a second electrode part connected to the first electrode part, and positioned under the main pixel electrode; a third electrode part connected to the second electrode part, and extended along the first gate wiring; and a fourth electrode part connected to the second electrode part, and extended in the first direction along the second gate wiring. |
