PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of exerting an optimum air flow control corresponding to an operation mode by controlling a combination of flows of air at different temperatures blown from a plurality of diffusers.SOLUTION: An air conditioner including: a main fan 265 blowing air passed through an indoor heat exchanger 264; and left or/and right fan unit 261 or/and 262 provided on at least one of both sides of the main fan 265, and blowing the air that is not permitted to be passed through the indoor heat exchanger 264, comprises: main air-direction changing means for changing a direction of the air from the main fan 265 vertically and horizontally; side air-direction changing means for changing the direction of the air from the left or/and right fan unit 261 or/and 262 vertically and horizontally; and air flow control means for exerting an air flow control by combining the direction of the air from the main fan 265 and that from the left or/and right fan unit 261 or/and 262. The air conditioner has a convergent air flow mode and a diffused air flow mode by a combination of the main air-direction changing means and the side air-direction changing means so as to correspond to a heating operation mode or a cooling operation mode. |
