PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a structure in which down-sizing and weight saving can be achieved easily and freedom in design of a steering device can be secured easily and which can be installed at a narrow space.SOLUTION: A guide plate 23 which is supported by and fixed to a vehicle body and does not displace forward even in a secondary collision is provided. The guide plate 23 is supported by and fixed to the vehicle body only at two places of a pair of fixing plate parts 34, 34 prepared at two places of width direction both edge parts of a rear edge part. Flexural stiffness in the back and forth direction of the guide plate 23 is secured by bending the cross section shape in the width direction of the guide plate 23. A guide sleeve 38 mated from outside with a bolt 28 prepared at the central part of the upper surface of a column side bracket 15a is engaged with a guide long hole 29 prepared at the central part of the guide plate 23, and slip-off is avoided by a nut 41. |
