The present invention relates to an apparatus for cutting a cast piece comprising: a rail extending in parallel with a drawing direction of a cast piece; a torch unit which is arranged apart from the cast piece and which is formed to move forward and backward in a width direction of the cast piece; a support unit which is connected with one end of the torch unit and which supports the torch unit above the cast piece; a moving unit which is mounted in the lower part of the support unit and which travels above the cast piece in a moving direction of the torch unit; and a connecting rod connecting the support unit and the moving unit each other. The apparatus for cutting a cast piece can reduce the friction between the cast piece and the apparatus by decreasing the contact area of the apparatus and the cast piece.
