The method comprises pre-defining the curve to be performed, determining the number and the geometry of a series of notches (2) to obtain, after bending, the predefined curve, where the notches comprise two openings (4) located face to face on the periphery of the section and are connected by a recess (5) in the form of double isosceles triangle whose tops are contiguous with the circular openings, virtually tracing the contour of the notches on the periphery of the section, cutting the notches along the traced lines, and removing a material located inside the cut lines. The tracing and cutting steps are performed using a computer numerical control machine with laser beam. The recess of some of the notches is equipped with a strip engaging in a notch associated with after bending in order to avoid any torsion of the section. |
