The element (4) has a locking ball (14) which is movable in a base frame (8), and is adapted to lock a complementary fluid coupling element (6). An actuating ball (16) of a locking ring (10) is adapted to be pushed into an elongated housing (18) of the base frame during the coupling of the coupling element main portion and the complementary coupling element, such that the locking ring is moved axially from a locking position. A diameter (D) of each actuating ball is greater than the diameter of the each locking ball respectively. An independent claim is included for a fluid coupling assembly. |
