The arrangement has a bearing retainer (18) for a bearing element (10) i.e. bearing cap, attached on a cylinder crankcase (12). A tie rod screw (22) is screwed at the bearing element. An offset (V) of the crankshaft is provided such that a side of the bearing element is arranged between the bearing retainer and the tie rod screw. The side of the bearing element is indirectly arranged at a supporting bearing element screw (36). The bearing element is attached at the crankcase. The side of the bearing element is faced away from the crankcase and screwed in the crankcase.
