<p>Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, a device and a communication system for extending a reference signal, wherein the method comprises: according to a mapping relationship between the reference signal and an antenna port, sending a physical resource block that bears the reference signal on the antenna port to a user equipment (UE), wherein the reference signal is generated by mapping a reference signal sequence to the physical resource block according to a preset time frequency pattern; and sending the UE a signaling that carries the time frequency pattern, the mapping relationship between the reference signal and the antenna port, and a reference signal sequence parameter, wherein the reference signal sequence parameter is used by the UE for generating a reference signal, the time frequency pattern and the mapping relationship between the reference signal and the antenna port are used by the UE for obtaining the reference signal born in the physical resource block, and the generated reference signal and the reference signal born in the physical resource block are used by the UE for channel estimation.</p> |
