PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support structure of a plate-like body for a window in which distortion amounts of a vertical member and a horizontal member can be suppressed, even when front dimensions of the vertical member and the horizontal member are reduced, even in a plate-like body for a window with a large area, namely, with a heavy weight.SOLUTION: In a window glass unit 10, a dead-weight receiving member 18 supporting multiple glass G is disposed in a connection part 20 of a vertical member 12 and a horizontal member 14, the vertical member 12 and the horizontal member 14 are connected via the dead-weight receiving member 18, and a dead-weight of the multiple glass G is supported by the dead-weight receiving member 18 disposed in the connection part 20 of the vertical member 12 and the horizontal member 14. Thus, even in a plate-like body for a window with a large area, namely, with a heavy weight, even when front dimensions of the vertical member 12 and the horizontal member 14 are reduced, distortion amounts of the vertical member 12 and the horizontal member 14 by the dead weight of the multiple glass G can be suppressed. Since a force in an axial direction is charged by the horizontal member 14 in the window glass unit 10, deformation of the vertical member 12 can be prevented. Therefore, since section stiffness required for the vertical member 12 can be set lower, the front dimension of the vertical member 12 can be reduced. |
