PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging equipment and charging system capable of monitoring a battery from the outside even at any other event than during battery charging in an electric propulsion vehicle such as an electric vehicle.SOLUTION: A charging equipment 5 having a cable run for supplying a charging voltage to an electric propulsion vehicle, such as electric vehicle 6, includes: a switch 52 for switching a cable run; a filter circuit 5F that is provided as a bypass path of the switch 52, blocks energization by a charging voltage, is superimposed on the charging voltage and passes only a signal of power line communication with a higher frequency than the charging voltage; and a controller 54 that controls switching operations of the switch 52.
