Provided is a gas-insulated switchgear provided with: a grounded metal tank (1) inside which insulation gas is enclosed; a central conductor (2) extending into the tank (1), to which alternating current voltage is applied; an insulating coating film (101) applied to the inner surface of the tank (1); and a coating film (3) applied over the coating film (101) and obtained by applying insulating paint components and paint containing a nonlinear resistance material. By means of this configuration, the action of metal impurities can be suppressed over a wide range, from areas having a low electrical field to areas having a high electrical field.
