PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation detection device that can cancel out an influence of a displacement (a variation) in a sensitivity axial direction P in comparison with conventional devices, and to provide a rotation detection device manufacturing method.SOLUTION: As shown in Figs. 2(a) and (b), each of magnetic resistance effect elements S1 to S4 is used to configure a first bridge circuit 34, and each of magnetic resistance effect elements S5 to S8 is used to configure a second bridge circuit 35. Accordingly, even if sensitivity axial directions P1 to P4 are tilted respectively by &thetas;1 with respect to directions at 0°, 90°, 180° and 270°, an influence of &thetas;1 can be cancelled out and a displacement of a phase difference in outputs to be obtained from the first bridge circuit and the second bridge circuit can be improved with high accuracy. Thus, rotation information can be detected with high accuracy. |
