<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical device that can improve coupling efficiency of light and surface plasmon polariton.SOLUTION: An optical device comprises: projection groups 110 and 120 in which projections of electric conductors are arranged along a direction D1 which is parallel to a virtual plane. Arrangement cycles of the projections of the projection groups 110 and 120 at least comprise a first cycle P1 and a second cycle P2 (P2≠P1) which is different from the first cycle P1. The first cycle P1 and the second cycle P2 are shorter cycles than wavelengthλ1 of incident light.</p> |
