<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical monitoring device for an image-formation system.SOLUTION: The optical monitoring device for an optical image-forming system 101 having a focal plane Pf, an optical axis and an input pupil hole includes: at least one almost point-like light emitting source S that forms an image of a scene present substantially at infinity on at least one image detector D substantially arranged at the focal plane Pf, and is arranged in a periphery of the detector D and substantially within the focal plane Pf; and a reflection element 10 that has a flat surface. The element 10 is arranged in an upstream of the image-formation system 101 when a propagation direction of a light beam coming from the scene is taken into consideration, and according to a position and a tilt so that a monitor image 11 of the light emitting source S generated by the optical system 101 and reflected by the reflection element 10 is arranged substantially in detection elements D and C connected to analysis means of the monitor image 11 enabling a potential optical defect to be discriminated in the focal plane Pf. The reflection element 10 has an annular shape in order to allow for transmission of the light beam coming from the scene and passing through the input pupil.</p> |
