<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an information terminal to which an ID is newly issued by an authority issuance server to immediately use a service, even when the information is not updated to an authentication device from the authority issuance server in real time.SOLUTION: A first information terminal 10 transmits a response to a challenge received from an authentication device 30 and a parent ID to the authentication device 30, and a second information terminal 20 transmits a response to a challenge received from the authentication device 30 and a child ID to the authentication device 30. The authentication device 30 comprises a parent ID/authentication key storage unit 301 for storing the ID of the first information terminal 10 and a key for authentication, a child ID/authentication key storage unit 302 for storing the ID of the second information terminal 20 and a key for authentication, and an authentication unit 304 for identifying whether the received ID is the parent ID or the child ID, and performing authentication of the response. The authentication unit 304 verifies the response using the key for authentication of the first information terminal 10 when receiving the parent ID, and verifies the response using the key for authentication of the second information terminal 20 when receiving the child ID.</p> |
