PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-manufacture substrate for mounting a light-emitting element which exhibits excellent heat dissipation while ensuring the optical axis stability of a light-emitting element to be mounted, and to provide a manufacturing method therefor.SOLUTION: A substrate 1 for mounting a light-emitting element includes an element mounting surface 11 for mounting a surface-emitting light-emitting element, and a reflector surface 12 for reflecting the light emitted from the light-emitting element. The substrate 1 for mounting a light-emitting element has: a base material 2 composed of an insulating resin including a cavity forming part 21 being bent to form a concave part 13 on the element mounting surface 11 side and a convex part 15 on the back 14 side; a first conductor layer 31 formed on the element mounting surface 11 side of the base material 2; a second conductor layer 32 formed on the back 14 side of the base material 2; and a metal block 4 penetrating the base material 2 so as to be exposed to a bottom surface 130 of the concave part 13 and a top surface 150 of the convex part 15, respectively. A reflector surface 12 is formed on the inner surface of the concave part 13 around the element mounting surface 11. |
