PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting rod capable of ensuring necessary strength while suppressing the number of bolts.SOLUTION: The invention relates to an obliquely split connecting rod 1 coupling a piston pin of a piston with a crankshaft in an internal combustion engine. The connecting rod 1 includes: a rod main body 2 in which a first insertion hole A into which the piston pin is inserted is formed; and a cap 3 coupled to the rod main body 2 by bolts, and forming a second insertion hole B into which the crankshaft is inserted by being integrated with the rod main body 2. A side of the cap 3 closer to the first insertion hole A is coupled to the rod main body 2 by two bolts 6A and 6B, and a side of the cap 3 away from the first insertion hole A is coupled to the rod main body 2 by one bolt 5. |
