PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust the weight balance of a viscous coupling as a whole by a simple structure, in the viscous coupling in which weight unbalance exists on a cover to which a bolt for blocking a filling hole and a steel ball for blocking an air vent are attached.SOLUTION: A viscous coupling 1 comprises: an outer housing 2; an inner hub; an outer plate which integrally rotates together with the outer housing 2; an inner plate which integrally rotates together with the inner hub; a cover 7 having a filling hole of silicone oil and an air vent 16, and blocking a one-end opening of the outer housing 2; a bolt 18 for sealing the filling hole; and a steel ball 17 for sealing the air vent 16. The viscous coupling also comprises: a snap ring 8 for preventing the come-off of the cover 7. The snap ring 8 has weight unbalance which is the same as weight unbalance around an axial core O of the cover 7 to which the bolt 18 and the steel ball 17 are attached, and assembled so that both the weight unbalance are positioned while opposing each other with the axial core O therebetween. |
