<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device that does not damage a printing medium and a conveying component of the printing device even when an operator notices that a different printing medium is mistakenly fed and then tries to forcibly pull out the different printing medium by hand.SOLUTION: A printing device 100 in which a printing medium 70 inserted from a medium insertion port A is conveyed to a printing position being held between upper and lower conveying rollers 8 and 9 includes: pulling-out detection means for detecting that the printing medium 70 is pulled out in a conveying path by external force R to the printing medium 70; and external force load reduction means for reducing a load by the external force R to the upper and lower conveying rollers 8 and 9 when the pulling-out means detects pulling-out in the conveying path.</p> |
