The invention relates to a device for curling hair, said device comprising an elongated lower part, which has multiple waves in the longitudinal direction, for the placement of the hair and an upper part for clamping the hair between the upper and lower part. The invention is characterized in that: i) the lower and upper part are separate from each other; ii) the lower and upper part are each a strip which is waved in the longitudinal direction and has an aspect ratio of at least 3:1; iii) the waves of the strips have radii of curvature which correspond to one another so that the lower and upper part fit into each other; and iv) the lower and upper part are each ladder-shaped. |
