<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pointing device having high operability and portability.SOLUTION: The pointing device comprises as a casing a rectangular bottom face with long sides having the length of 40 mm to 100 mm and short sides having the length of 10 mm to 40 mm, a front side face provided on a second long side of the bottom face, a top face opposing the bottom face substantially in parallel at an interval of 5 mm to 30 mm, and a slope connecting the top face and the front side face. On the slope, a first click button and a second click button are disposed side by side. The pointing device comprises: a touch sensor for sending a touch to a sensible region at the back of the first click button on the top face; a scroll operation determination section for determining whether a scroll operation is performed on the basis of a sensing result in the touch sensor; a scroll information generation section for generating scroll information in the case where it is determined that the scroll operation is performed; and a radio transmission section for transmitting at least the generated scroll information by radio.</p> |
