PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mist generator capable of generating a sufficient amount of mist despite the compactness by improving mist generation efficiency, and also to provide a facial treatment unit incorporating the mist generator.SOLUTION: A mist generator includes: an impeller 30 where multiple blades 33 are annularly arranged in a state to cross a rotating direction between two fixing members; and multiple nozzles 40 arranged at different angles with respect to the impeller 30. The jet flows F to be jetted from the nozzles 40 collide with the blades 33, to thereby generate mist by crushing the jet flows F and also allow the impeller 30 to be driven for rotation.
