The box/feedthrough (1) has a base body for fastening the box/feedthrough in a recess. A holding device (10) includes a connecting section and another connecting section (12) for providing a cable chain, or a cover on sides of the box/feedthrough. Arms (16) connect the connecting sections with the base body. The connecting sections are centrically arranged in the base body, and provided at a common connecting body (14). The holding device is designed separate from the base body, and inserted into the base body. An opening of the box/feedthrough is partially covered in a closed state.
