PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer surface coating composition for an impact can made of aluminum, capable of forming an excellent coating film fulfilling, by solving problems of the prior art without using an expensive effect pigment, requisite conditions for an impact can made of aluminum, such as designability of imparting, based on a sunset effect, a yellowish hue (the aluminum can surface appears golden due to metallic luster thereof) and endowments of adhesiveness and workability enabling processing into various can forms; and an impact can made of aluminum, furnished with a dry coating film layer of the coating composition.SOLUTION: The provided outer surface coating material composition for an impact can made of aluminum includes: (A) a zinc oxide pigment as an effect pigment; and (D) a binder resin including (B) a polyester resin which includes no raw ingredients derived from bisphenols, whose solid content hydroxyl value is 5-15, whose solid content acid value is lower than 10, and whose number-average molecular weight is 5,000-20,000 and, as a curative, (C) a methyl/butyl-mixed etherated benzoguanamine-melamine cocondensation resin including no raw ingredients derived from bisphenols. |
