Provided is a battery assembling machine capable of, without damaging the terminal portion of each electrode of a wound electrode body, easily attaching a connection terminal of a collector member to the terminal portion. When a rod (51) in the battery assembling machine (1) is extended, the connection terminals (19) of a collector member (3) approach wound electrode bodies (2) disposed on guide portions (86). Subsequently, by sliding the connection terminals (19) on the surfaces of the guide portions (86), the connection terminals (19) are guided to a position where the connection terminals (19) overlap with the terminal portions (9a, 11a) of the wound electrode bodies (2). In this case, the connection terminals (19) make contact with only the guide portions (86) and do not make contact with the terminal portions (9a, 11a) of the wound electrode bodies (2). Accordingly, without damaging the terminal portions (9a, 11a) of the wound electrode bodies (2), the connection terminals (19) of the collector member (3) can be easily attached to the terminal portions (9a, 11a). |
