The system has a beam (34) for supporting and/or stowing of goods mounted sliding along rails (30) and extending transversely between the rails. A locking unit blocks the beam with respect to the rails. The locking unit is provided with a blocking cam (48) placed on the beam and a wedging element (62). The wedging element and the blocking cam are cooperated by conjugation to obtain the blocking of the beam after rotation of the beam, and to allow the releasing of the beam after another rotation of the beam. An independent claim is also included for a frame for a road transport vehicle.
