<p>An image heating apparatus (9) includes: first (91) and second (92) rotatable members for heating an image on a recording material (P) at a nip (N) therebetween; a belt member (210) for heating the first rotatable member (91) in contact with an outer surface of the first rotatable member; and first (201) and second (202) supporting members for rotatably supporting the belt member (210), wherein the first and second supporting members are provided so that a heating portion by the belt member is formed from a position where the belt member is contacted to the first rotatable member by the first supporting member to a position where the endless belt member is contacted to the first rotatable member by the second supporting member along a rotational direction of the first rotatable member. A pressure between the second supporting member (202) and the first rotatable member (91) is larger than a pressure between the first supporting member (201) and the first rotatable member (91).
