The present invention relates to a device and a method for removing sulfur compounds contained in exhaust gas using seawater, and more specifically, to a device and a method for removing sulfur compounds contained in exhaust gas using seawater as an absorbent in an absorption tank, an absorption tower, and a cyclone scrubber. The device has a closed circulation loop absorption system for recycling seawater to allow discharge of the recycled seawater by diluting the sulfur compounds contained in the seawater with pure seawater or reacting the seawater with air in a regeneration tower.
