PURPOSE: A method for calculating the position data of a working plate and a method for transferring a package using the method are provided to accurately calculate the position of the package by using the position detection member of a peaker head. CONSTITUTION: Two points on one surface of a working plate is detected. The working plate supports semiconductor packages at regular intervals. The tilt angle of the working plate is calculated (S110). Each point of adjacent two surfaces of the working plate is detected. The reference position of one edge of the working plate is calculated (S120).
