An LED module 102 for a retrofit LED light bulb 101 comprises a printed circuit board 105 and first and second non-directional double-ended linear LED elements 106, 107 connected to the printed circuit board 105. A gap G is provided between each linear LED element 106, 107 and the printed circuit board 105 along the length of the light emitting region L of the linear LED elements. The gap G minimizes the obstruction of light emitted by the linear LED elements by the printed circuit board 105. A retrofit LED light bulb 101 comprises a lamp base 103, a lamp envelope 104 and the LED module 102. |
