The present invention related to an aromatic modified liquid phenol resin and a rubber composition for a tire tread including the same. More specifically, the aromatic modified liquid phenol resin according to the present invention improves compatibility with a rubber component contained in the rubber composition, and a phenol compound. The rubber composition for the tire tread including such an aromatic modified liquid phenol resin has the advantage of having improved physical properties such as grip force.
