The present invention relates to a membrane deformation preventing stiffener, for preventing the deformation of a membrane including a plurality of wrinkled parts on a surface, comprising: a base stiffening member which is able to be inserted into the wrinkled part and which touches a lower end part of the wrinkled part; and a stress distribution stiffening member formed upwards from both sides of an upper end in the base stiffening member, with an opening as the center. The membrane deformation preventing stiffener distributes the stress to be flexibly deformed when an external force is applied to the wrinkled parts of the membrane, thereby preventing damage to the wrinkled parts and being restorable so it can efficiently transport liquefied natural gas. |
