MACHINE FOR WELDING PROTECTIVE ANGULAR LAMELLAE AT THE END EDGE OF METAL MESH ROLLERS

摘要

Novelty: a machine and method for welding the protective angular lamella 12 at the end edge of a metal mesh roller are disclosed. Constitution: the invented welding machine comprises the cutting arrangement 6 for cutting the metal mesh stripe 17 which is deployed from the entry roller 1 and wound around the exit roller 14, a provision 7 for the holding and displacement of the end edge of the final product which is wound around the roller 14 in the welding position, means supplying the angular metal lamella 12 the position of which allows the confinement of the end edge of the metal mesh stripe 17 therein, and an ultrasound welding machine 10 with horn-like welding arm 9 cooperating with the anvil 8 for welding the end edge of the metal mesh stripe inside the metal lamella 12.
