receiving, by an acknowledgement determiner, an indication to transmit a short acknowledgement; determining, by the acknowledgement determiner, the short acknowledgment, wherein the short acknowledgement comprises a truncated packet with a repeating pattern of symbols, the repeating pattern of symbols comprising at least one phase shift between symbols of the repeating pattern of symbols to identify the truncated packet as the short acknowledgement; and transmitting, by the acknowledgement determiner, the short acknowledgement to an antenna for transmission. |
