<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that a time required for the whole of AF becomes long, because a time required for AE is long, when a plurality of AEs requiring signal reading are performed during an AF operation.SOLUTION: A focus detection device detecting a focus by using an image signal obtained by capturing a pair of luminous fluxes after passing through the different exit pupil region of an image forming optical system by imaging means calculates a defocus by using the image signal, controls the image forming optical system, based on the calculated defocus, determines an exposure condition by using the information of the calculated defocus, and adjusts the exposure condition of the image forming optical system by using the determined exposure condition.</p> |
