PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a release film which is suitable for various purposes for bonding components via an adhesive layer, for example, in manufacturing a touch panel with an electrostatic capacitance system, for manufacturing component members of various displays, and for protecting various types of adhesive layers.SOLUTION: The release film includes a coating layer and a release layer, successively disposed on one surface of an at least uniaxially oriented polyester film. The coating layer comprises at least one organic compound including a metal element selected from aluminum, zirconium, and titanium, and an organic silicon compound. The release layer comprises a &pgr;-conjugate conductive polymer resin and a silicone resin; and the release layer has a surface specific resistance (R) of 1×10&OHgr; or less. After the film is heated at 180°C for 10 minutes, an amount of polyester oligomer on the release layer surface is 2.0 mg/mor less. |
