PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trajectory guide that can be used with a drill guide or the like.SOLUTION: A trajectory guide is provided for determining the trajectory of a compression screw relative to a previously implanted screw 102 located within an orthopaedic plate 3. The guide is adapted to releasably position a drill guide 2a in a spaced-apart relation to an orthopaedic plate having previously implanted first screws such that the guide defines a trajectory for a compression screw that does not intersect with the first screws. In this way, when the screw 102 is positioned within a plate hole 92, after the drill guide 2a has been removed, the screw 102 and the compression screw will never meet nor cross each other. |
