PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet cutting device which does not cause poor cutting, e.g. excessive cutting or narrow cutting, in aligning, for cutting, folded tip ends of a plurality of sheet bundles folded along the center line.SOLUTION: A minimum cutting amount is set to a value varied according to the bundle thickness and/or the number of sheets of a sheet bundle in aligning, for cutting, the tip ends of sheet bundles. The configuration prevents an erroneous treatment of setting such a delivery amount as to cause excessive cutting or narrow cutting, in detecting the folded ends of sheet bundles and feeding folded sheet bundles to a cutting position in the downstream. |
