[Problem] To provide a method for sensing a harbinger of a system fault in a plurality of diverse information processing systems. [Solution] A system which monitors a plurality of systems to be monitored receives measured values for a plurality of indices, designates, from a plurality of prediction models, a prediction model for predicting future measured values from the received measured values for reference indices, predicts predicted values of the reference indices on the basis of the designated prediction model, generates or updates a Bayesian network for the reference indices and target indices, and computes a probability that the measured values of the target indices will be either prescribed values or ranges of values. |
