<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of welding an adapter fitting to a fitting on a measuring device system such as a pressure measuring device and a temperature measurement device.SOLUTION: An adapter assembly comprises: a first fitting 14 comprising a shaft portion 16; and a second fitting 50 for defining an opening having size to receive the first fitting, where the second fitting also defines an abutment face. The second fitting is positioned around the first fitting while the abutment face abutting an outward end of the first fitting. At least one welding part 64 secures the first fitting to the second fitting.</p> |
