The stereoscopic video encoding device 1 synthesizes a plurality of videos by means of video synthesis means 11 and synthesizes the plurality of depth maps by means of depth map synthesis means 13, by a synthesis method designated by a depth type Hd, respectively encodes a parameter including a synthesis video G, a synthesis depth map Gd and the depth type Hd in an individual unit by means of video encoding means 12, depth map encoding means 14, and parameter encoding means 15, multiplexes the encoded parameter into an encoded bit string by means of multiplexing means 16, and transmits it. |
