The present invention relates to an automatic deceleration running device for a manual wheelchair, which provides deceleration units connected to rear parts of both side frames and installed to come in close contact with or separated from rotary shafts of rear wheels directly touching the bottom surface; and deceleration units connected to front parts of the both side frames and installed to come in close contact with or separated from surfaces of front wheels, for the four wheels, respectively, and actuates the deceleration units of the front and the rear wheels individually, if an occupant leans frontward in a foldable chair on a descent path and a weight movement occurs or a posture gets unstable. The present invention prevents a collision and an occupant ejection accident due to a burst of speed on the descent path by installing the deceleration units, actuated under different conditions, at the front and the rear wheels, and enables the occupant to safely come down the descent path together with a guardian while the guardian controls the speed even with a weak force from behind the wheelchair. |
