The pinion (1) has a separate pinion component (3) arranged opposite to a flange component (2). A flange contact surface (11) of the flange component is attached to a pinion contact surface (10) of a flange disk (4). An idle pinion surface (12) is arranged with the flange component. A wave stump is formed in a central bore and extended away from the pinion contact surface of the flange disk. The wave stump is integrated with the disk. The central bore is matched with a through-hole that is formed in the pinion component. The wave stump is welded by the pinion surface of the pinion component. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for manufacturing a flange pinion (2) a game-free spur wheel.
