<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a serial multiple power conversion method wherein it is possible to reduce the cost, footprint, and volumetric capacity of facilities related to a multiple transformer and enhance its reliability. <P>SOLUTION: The power conversion method uses a multiple transformer equipped with multiple three-phase alternating-current cell power supplies and a serial multiple power converter obtained by connecting multiple direct-current units in series.
