PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swing arm structure for a motorcycle capable of reducing weight while improving rigidity. SOLUTION: A swing arm 7 includes a swing arm base section 31 having a cylindrical shaft portion 30 supported on a main frame or the like, arm portions 32, 33 which extend from the swing arm base section 31 to rearward and support rear axles, and stabilizers 34, 35 formed from the upper surface of the swing arm base section 31 toward the upper surface of the arm portions 32, 33. The swing arm base section 31 spreads to the right and left from the vehicle width center line and protrudes from the cylindrical shaft portion 30 to the rearward, and the vertical cross section of the arm portions 32, 33 has a closed cross section structure.
