<p>The present invention relates to a locking nut assembly and, more specifically, to a locking nut assembly capable of firmly coupling a nut not to be released from a bolt. The locking nut assembly comprises the nut having a female thread to make the nut couple with the bolt, and fixing grooves extended inward from the inner surface in a direction where the nut and the bolt are coupled and inclined to make the gap between the inner surface of the nut and the outer surface of the bolt wide in a circumferential direction when the nut is coupled to the bolt; cylindrical locking members lengthily arranged in the direction where the bolt and the nut are coupled, and fitted in the fixing grooves; and a fixing unit for fixing the locking members on the nut to be freely rotated on an longitudinal axis. The fixing grooves are formed by penetrating the nut in the direction where the nut and the bolt are coupled. Fixing protrusions are arranged on both ends of the locking members. Both ends of the locking members are positioned in the fixing grooves along the direction where the nut and the bolt are coupled. The fixing unit comprises a main body surface and a flange formed on the inner diameter of the main body surface to face the inner surface of the nut. The fixing unit could be a flange washer for fixing the locking members to be freely rotated by being held on the flange when the flange is fitted in the inner surface of the nut.</p> |
