<p>PURPOSE: A rubber composition is provided to suppress the swelling of a rubber component by dimethyl ether, to impart activity to the rubber component, and to be suitable for a sealant contacting dimethyl ether. CONSTITUTION: A rubber composition comprises a rubber component and a swelling-inhibitory activator which suppresses the swelling of a rubber component by dimethyl ether and imparts activity to the rubber component. The swelling-inhibitory activator includes at least one selected from polyethylene powder, silicone powder, and polytetrafluoroethylene powder. The rubber component includes at least any one selected from nitrile rubber, hydrogenated nitrile rubber, ethylene-propylene rubber, and ethylene-propylene-diene rubber.</p> |
