<p>The present invention relates to a direct-type backlight device which converts the light emitted from a plurality of point light sources to the light evenly emitted from a surface light source to emit the light in an upward direction. The backlight device includes: a cover bottom with an internal storage space; the point light sources mounted in the cover bottom; a support member with support protrusions formed to protrude upward and is laminated on the inner surface of the cover bottom to expose the point light sources; and a dispersion member which is laminated on the upper part of the support member and disperse the light from the point light sources. The present invention employing such configuration reflects and emits the highly bright light of the point light sources emitted from an LED by a support member and a reflection member to remove hot spots due to the point light sources and evenly emit the light in overall to implement a better exterior.</p> |
