<p>Methods of applying a substantially planar member to a substrate are disclosed, the method comprises providing an adhesive comprising one or more selected from the group consisting of: a substantially water free adhesive and a polymer modified cement adhesive. The substrate may be a salt-impregnated wall surface arising from damp penetration, or a salt-impregnated wall covered by a salt barrier. The water free adhesive may be a silane-modified polyether or poly acrylate, or a urethane foam adhesive. The salt barrier composition comprises one or more selected from the group consisting of a silane and a siloxane.</p> |
