摘要 A tree-dimensional orthogonal frequency division multiplexing apparatus and a method for the same are disclosed. The disclosed three-dimensional orthogonal frequency division multiplexing apparatus includes a three-dimensional signal mapping unit to map N input signals on three-dimensional coordinates of a signal configuration respectively. The signal points of the signal configuration includes: first signal points arranged on a peak point of an external hexahedron which has a weight center point as a starting point of a three-dimensional orthogonal coordinate and second signal points arranged on a peak point of an internal hexahedron which is rotated with a predetermined angle along a coordinate shaft of the orthogonal coordinate which has the weight center point as the starting point of the three-dimensional orthogonal coordinate. According to the present invention, symbol error rates of a reception end can be reduced by increasing a minimum Euclidean distance between the signal points and without changing the average transmission power.
